Tumble Barrel Deburring
Tumble Deburring Is Fast and Efficient
Tumble deburring is a batch processing in an enclosed barrel— usually a six-sided barrel.
Parts are bulk-loaded with water, abrasive media, and the proper compounding agent. The rotation of the barrel causes the parts to tumble, causing friction and abrasion of the parts in the mass.
The same deburring can be done in an open tub (vibratory deburring).
Centrifugal Barrel Finishing
CBF is a high-energy deburring method. Although CBF is a type of tumble barrel process, it uses centrifugal force to grind a burr.
This is a cost-effective method because it is 8x faster than the conventional tumble barrel.
